EBRSO Rescues Fifteen-Year-Old Girl During Human Trafficking Operation

On June 21, 2016 the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, along with other area agencies, executed an undercover operation at a local hotel in efforts to combat human trafficking. During the course of the operation, law enforcement rescued a 15-year-old girl being trafficked. The following agencies participated in the operation: Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Louisiana State Police, Homeland Security Investigation (HSI), Probation and Parole, and the Attorney General’s Office.

Detectives located the 15-year-old girl during the course of the operation with an adult female and an adult male, later identified as the trafficker. Both the man and woman were taken into custody on scene. A second adult female was also arrested as part of a second undercover “date.” All three adult subjects were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. DCFS was contacted and will be working with the juvenile for services and assistance to return her to her home in Little Rock, AR.

Jennifer Gabrielle Anselmo, 22, of Slaughter, LA is charged with Possession of Schedule 1 Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, Prostitution, Human Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile.

Udraka Moab Roberts-Bey, 25, of New Orleans, LA Is charged Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile, Human Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes, Pandering, Possession of Schedule 4 Drugs, Contributing to Delinquency of a Juvenile and Promoting Prostitution.

Skylar Marie Harris, 20, of Scottsdale, AZ is charged with Prostitution.
