EBRSO and Zachary PD Investigate Murder - East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 8:20 yesterday evening after a man returned to his Brian Road home and found his wife deceased. Seventy-four-year-old Frances Jane Schultz was pronounced dead on the scene.

EBRSO Charges Woman in Murder of Her Child - East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Homicide detectives arrested a woman today for the murder of her 18-month-old child after toxicology results revealed a “fatal range for an adult” of Methadone and other drugs in the child’s system at the time of death. Heather Hidalgo (dob 11/06/76) of 1917 Mariner Drive is charged with First Degree Murder of 18-month-old Isabelle Hidalgo.

EBRSO Investigates Residential Burglary - On January 24, 2019, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the 14000 Block of Town Dr. in reference to a residential burglary. Entry was made forcefully through rear door. Items stolen totaling over $1000.00. Video surveillance footage shows two unknown black males.
