Lieutenant Kim Williams serves as the Recruiter for the office. She began her career in law enforcement in June of 2000. She has been employed with the City of Plaquemine Police Department and the Louisiana Department of Public Safety Police. During her years of service, she has served as a Criminal Investigator, SWAT team member, Field Training Officer, and a Lead Juvenile Investigator. On June 7, 2007, Lieutenant Williams began her career with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. She was assigned to Uniform Patrol, Central Substation and was promoted to Corporal at Scotlandville Substation. In 2008 she worked her way through the ranks of, Sergeant and Lieutenant at Gardere Substation. Lt. Williams graduated from the LSU Basic Law Enforcement Academy in 2000 and also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University and A&M College.
